Darui Electric recommends:
Dielectric Loss TesterIt is internally equipped with a high-voltage step-up transformer and adopts safety protection measures such as zero-crossing switching and lightning protection. During testing, it outputs high voltage at different levels from 0.5KV to 10KV,Simple and safe to operate. The dielectric loss tester is a high-precision testing instrument used in power plants, substations, and other field or laboratory settings to test the dielectric loss tangent value and capacitance of various high-voltage power equipment. The instrument features an integrated structure with a built-in dielectric loss test bridge, variable frequency voltage regulation power supply, step-up transformer, and SF6 high-stability standard capacitor. The test high-voltage source is generated by the instrument's internal inverter and boosted by the transformer for testing the specimen. The frequency can be switched to 45Hz or 55Hz, 55Hz or 65Hz, using digital notch filtering technology to avoid interference from the power frequency electric field on testing.
Performance Features of Dielectric Loss Tester
Features multiple measurement modes, with selectable forward/reverse connection, internal/external standard capacitor, CVT measurement (external booster), and internal/external test voltage for measurement.
The fully automatic dielectric loss tester has excellent anti-interference performance; it can effectively eliminate the influence of strong electric field interference on measurements, making it suitable for testing at interference sites in 500KV and below substations.
In the event of high-voltage short circuit or sudden power failure, the instrument can quickly cut off the high voltage and issue a warning message.
Good measurement repeatability and excellent voltage linearity (measurement accuracy is not affected by voltage).
Integrated structure with moderate weight, easy to carry.
Large-screen Chinese prompt operation, convenient to use.
The instrument comes with a built-in printer for timely printing of test data.
Safety Measures for Dielectric Loss Tester:
(1) HV protection: rapid HV cut-off on short, breakdown or current fluctuation.
(2) CVT protection: auto exit on overcurrent setpoint, no damage.
(3) Grounding Detection: The instrument has a grounding detection function; it cannot boost voltage and will alarm if not grounded.
(5) Anti-“Capacitance Rise”: When measuring large-capacity test specimens, a voltage elevation “capacitance rise” effect may occur. The instrument can automatically track the output voltage to maintain a constant test voltage.
