Usage Instructions:
Before testing, select the method shown in Figure A or Figure B according to the application and connect the test leads. The measurement wiring diagram is shown below.
When measuring the insulation resistance between components of electrical products, connect the “L” and “E” terminals to any pair of wire terminals. For example, when measuring phase-to-phase insulation resistance of a generator, the three phases can be alternately swapped, and the unconnected phase should be grounded, as shown in Figure A.
When measuring insulation resistance, connect the L terminal to the test object, the E terminal to the housing or ground of the test object, and the G terminal to the shielded portion or other non-measured parts of the test object to eliminate errors caused by surface leakage, as shown in Figure B. Follow the steps below for use.
