The Insulation Resistance Tester, also known as digital insulation resistance tester, megohmmeter, or intelligent insulation resistance tester, is suitable for insulation testing in the maintenance, repair, testing, and calibration of various electrical equipment. The instrument features uniform and clear insulation resistance scale divisions for accurate reading. It offers simple operation and portability. With low power consumption using 8×1.5V (AA, R6) batteries, it provides extended operating time. It also includes a battery capacity check function.

1. For Model 5400: at 500V max measurable 20GΩ, at 1000V max 40GΩ, at 2500V max 100GΩ; For Model 5500: at 2500V max 100GΩ, at 5000V max 200GΩ; For Model 5600: at 5000V max 200GΩ, at 10000V max 400GΩ.
2. Rated output voltage is maintained with load resistance as low as 4MΩ/8MΩ/20MΩ for Model 5400, 20MΩ/40MΩ for Model 5500, and 40MΩ/80MΩ for Model 5600, enabling accurate measurement of lower insulation impedance.
