The HV Dielectric Loss Tester is a high-precision instrument for testing dielectric loss tangent and capacitance of various HV power equipment at power plants, substations, and laboratories. The instrument features an integrated structure with built-in dielectric loss test bridge, variable frequency adjustable power supply, step-up transformer, and SF6 high-stability standard capacitor. The test HV source is generated by the internal inverter and boosted through the transformer for testing. The frequency can be adjusted to 45Hz/55Hz or 55Hz/65Hz, using digital notch technology to avoid power frequency interference, fundamentally solving the challenge of accurate measurement under strong electric field interference. It is also suitable for generator-powered testing during complete power outages. The instrument can test insulating oil dielectric loss when equipped with an insulating oil cup.
Main Features
1. Large LCD Chinese display
The instrument is equipped with a large screen (105mm×65mm) Chinese menu interface. The display is divided into left and right sections - the left side is the function menu area, and the right side displays relevant status information prompts. Each step is clearly presented, allowing operators to use the instrument without professional training. In a single operation, the microprocessor automatically completes the entire measurement process, making it an ideal dielectric loss measurement device.
2. Massive data storage
The instrument is equipped with a calendar chip and large capacity memory, capable of saving test results in chronological order for historical review and printout at any time.
3. Advanced data management
Data can be exported via USB and viewed/managed on any PC using our dedicated software, with report generation capability.
4. Multiple test modes
The instrument supports multiple testing modes: internal HV, external HV, internal standard, external standard, normal connection, reverse connection, self-excitation, etc. High voltage (>10kV) dielectric loss testing is possible with external standard and external HV.
5. One-step CVT testing
The instrument can also test the dielectric loss and capacitance of fully sealed CVT (Capacitive Voltage Transformer) C1 and C2 simultaneously. It can also test CVT ratio and voltage angle difference.
6. High-speed signal sampling
The internal inverter and sampling circuit are fully digitally controlled, with continuously adjustable output voltage.
7. Multi-layer protection, safe and reliable
The instrument features multiple protections including input voltage fluctuation, output short circuit, overvoltage, overcurrent, and temperature protection, ensuring safe and reliable operation. It also includes a ground detection function that prevents voltage boosting without proper grounding.
