Safety Measures
1. Read this manual carefully before using the instrument.
2. Operators should possess general electrical equipment or instrument knowledge.
3. The instrument can be used indoors and outdoors, but avoid rain, corrosive gas, excessive dust, high temperature, direct sunlight, and similar environments.
4. Avoid severe vibration.
5. Maintenance by qualified personnel only.
6. After testing, wait until the discharge alarm stops before powering off and removing test leads.
7. When measuring no-load tap-changing transformers, wait until the discharge indicator alarm stops before switching taps.
8. Do not move test clips or power supply lines during test.
Precautions
Due to the wide output current range, ensure the selected current does not exceed the equipment capacity before measurement. Excessive current will cause the measured resistance to gradually change due to current heating effects.
In auto current mode, the instrument uses the highest possible current, outputting various currents from 0 up to the maximum value.
The two leads of the same test clamp must be connected to the current and voltage terminals of matching colors respectively.
After each test, wait until the discharge indicator stops before removing test leads. Operators must observe safety precautions.
The memory can store up to 250 measurement results; beyond 250, the oldest records will be overwritten.
