Product Overview The HAZZ-182C 3-Phase DC Resistance Tester, also known as a three-channel DC resistance tester, is an essential instrument for transformer manufacturing — covering semi-finished and finished product factory testing, installation, handover testing, and power utility preventive maintenance. It effectively detects manufacturing defects such as material selection issues, poor welding, loose connections, broken strands, and broken wires in transformer windings, as well as hidden operational hazards. To meet the demand for rapid DC resistance measurement in transformers, our company has developed this series of DC resistance testers leveraging our technical expertise. The instrument adopts advanced power supply technology, featuring compact size, light weight, and high output current. Controlled by a single-chip microcomputer, it automatically performs self-check, data processing, and display functions, with automatic discharge and discharge indication. It delivers high measurement accuracy and easy operation, enabling fast DC resistance measurement of transformers.
The Auto 3-Channel DC Resistance Tester (20A) adopts a dual power supply structure. For transformers with tap-changed YN connected windings, it applies three-phase simultaneous energization. The measurement system uses independent three-channel current sampling and independent three-channel voltage sampling to simultaneously measure and display three-phase resistance values and the three-phase unbalance rate. It solves the problem of time-consuming DC resistance testing for each tap winding of power transformers, reducing testing time to just 1/3 of traditional methods.
II. Product Safety Measures

6. After testing, wait until discharge alarm stops before powering off and removing test leads.
7. When measuring no-load tap-changing transformers, wait until the discharge indicator alarm stops before switching taps.
8. Do not move test clips or power supply wiring during testing.
