Transformer DC Resistance Quick Tester
Darui Electric recommends:
I. Product Overview
Winding DC resistance measurement is one of the routine tests for transformers. Its main purpose is to check whether the connections between windings and between windings and leads are in good mechanical condition, whether the resistance between phase windings is balanced, and to ensure the safe operation of the transformer.
II. Safety Precautions
1. Please read this manual carefully before using the Transformer DC Resistance Tester.
2. The operator of the Transformer DC Resistance Tester should possess general knowledge of electrical equipment or instrument usage.
3. The Transformer DC Resistance Tester can be used both indoors and outdoors, but should avoid locations exposed to rain, corrosive gases, excessive dust, high temperatures, or direct sunlight.
4. The instrument should be protected from severe vibration.
5. Repair, maintenance and adjustment of the instrument should be performed by qualified personnel.
6. After testing, turn off the power first, then disconnect the test leads.
7. When measuring an off-load tap-changing transformer, be sure to wait until the discharge indicator stops before switching taps.
8. Do not move test clips or power supply wiring during testing.
