The CT/PT VA Characteristic Tester is a fully automated (indirect sampling) PT and CT characteristic testing instrument.Tests include: CT VA characteristic test (1A, 5A), PT VA characteristic test, CT polarity test, PT polarity test,CT dynamic stability and short-time thermal current, CT ratio polarity test and PT ratio polarity test, automatic calculation of CT arbitrary point error curves, CT/PT ratio error and other result parameters.
I. Overview

1. Safe and convenient operation, fully microcomputerized with imported high-performance CPU for high reliability. After setting test values via the interface, the instrument automatically completes testing without manual contact with the equipment under test. Independent integrated AC 220V power supply design eliminates the need for external current/voltage boosters and 380V power.
2. Large output capacity (10~20kVA): VA characteristic test max output voltage up to 1000V/20A, ratio test max current up to 600A/20V, instrument output capacity 10kVA.
3. Uses power compensation technology; sampled values require no software correction.
4. Optional accessories include external booster, external current booster, and external voltage regulator. External booster max voltage up to 2000V/3A, external current booster up to 1000A, external voltage regulator max output 1500V/20A. With external booster, VA characteristic tests can be performed on 500kV class 1A current transformers.
5. Large 320x240 dot matrix graphic interface displays VA characteristic curves directly after testing. Clear and visually appealing graphics for easy analysis. Built-in micro printer for on-demand printing of curves and test results.
6. Rotary mouse input device for convenient and simple operation with long service life.
7. Built-in Flash memory retains data after power loss. Test results can be reviewed and printed indoors after field testing is completed.
8. RS232 communication interface enables PC connection via serial cable. Operators can control the instrument from a computer or upload test data. The included PC application features a powerful, well-designed interface with simple operation for saving, printing, and exporting test data to Excel format for editing.
9. Power supply auto-adapts between AC 220V and AC 380V.
