Safety Tips
1.Operation and maintenance should be performed by qualified personnel.
2. PD tester site voltage up to tens of kV. Personnel must follow all safety precautions. Clear warning signs required. Only qualified personnel in HV area.. During testing and after power-on, no personnel shall enter the high-voltage area.
3. Before testing, operators must understand test circuits, methods, procedures and objectives.
4. Test site must be clean, no unrelated items. No loose metal pieces in HV area. Maintain proper distances.
5. Test sample, transformer, coupling capacitor surfaces must be dry and clean - moisture and dirt cause surface PD.
6. Connect per procedures. All metal objects firmly grounded. Check for possible discharge points. Ensure all ground wires are properly connected.
7. Before voltage application, thoroughly check all connections to avoid errors. Pay special attention to ground wires, HV wires and power circuit connections.
8. If abnormality occurs, first cut power, then handle further.
Features:
1. PD signals digitally processed, displayed on LCD instead of oscilloscope.
2. Operation same as traditional analog PD testers, easy to learn.
3. Select elliptical, linear, sinusoidal display.
4. Digital windowing technology avoids interference.
5. Random phase windowing, single/double window, 150° rotation.
6. Freeze current PD pattern for static observation and analysis.
7. Save current PD pattern for traceability.
